Interface nsIForcePendingChannelType

nsIForcePending interface exposes a function that enables overwriting of the normal behavior for the channel's IsPending(), forcing 'true' to be returned.

AddRef

  • Increases the reference count for this interface. The associated instance will not be deleted unless the reference count is returned to zero.

Release

  • Decreases the reference count for this interface. Generally, if the reference count returns to zero, the associated instance is deleted.

forcePending

  • forcePending(true) overrides the normal behavior for the channel's IsPending(), forcing 'true' to be returned. A call to forcePending(false) reverts IsPending() back to normal behavior.
