AddRef

  • Increases the reference count for this interface. The associated instance will not be deleted unless the reference count is returned to zero.

  • A run time mechanism for interface discovery.

Release

  • Decreases the reference count for this interface. Generally, if the reference count returns to zero, the associated instance is deleted.

importAllRules

  • Asynchronously import all rules from RemoteSettings.

    Returns void

init

  • Initialize the service. This asynchronously imports the initial set of rules.

    Returns void

initForTest

  • Same as init but returns a promise which resolves once init is done. Used for testing when we need to wait for all rules to be imported.

    Returns any

shutdown

  • Shutdown the service. This disables any rule updates.

    Returns void
